Why does only one side of my hair curl/straighten?
I straighten my hair every morning, but if i don't I curl it. However, only the left side of my hair curls! And when I straighten my hair, the right side always flips up by the end of the day (my hair is naturally wavyish). I thought maybe it's cuz I sleep on my right side, so I blow-dried my hair before going to sleep and it still didnt work! I even tried styling gel, leave-in conditioner, and biosilk. Why??
Your not the only 1 with this problem. My hair does it too. I've been told that the side that doesn't straighten/curl is called your wild side. Most of the time your wild side is the side that you sleep on as in your case. I would maybe if you don't already try straightening your hair in layers such as like put half of it up straighten the bottom half put down the stuff thats up and straighten that as well. Your hair may also not be parted evenly the side for me that usually doesn't straighten is thinner then the other side maybe try evening it out more. Also when nothing I tried worked I got a new straightner and it works magnificently so maybe your problem is your straightner. Oh one last thing if you use a flat iron they don't work as good as actual straightners so maybe try a new one. Hope this helps.
